Sony BDP S360

Blu Ray Player Review

Sony BDP S360, Sony Blue Ray, Blu Ray Review

The Sony BDP S360, like the BDP S350 is a Profile 2.0 player providing full functionality of the BD-Live™ system. This means that using the ether port you will be able to download movie based content such as extra scenes, movie trailers and movie based games.

As far as features go, the BDP S360 Has raised the bars from it’s older siblings, the BDP-S300 and 350. The player offers you DTS HD Master Audio surround sound and 7.1-channel Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD for a superb audio experience, along with 24p True Cinema. Standard picture quality of 1080p leaves much of the competition behind who are still running the lesser 1080I standard. 1080p upscaling also benefits your DVD viewing experience. It allows you to view your old DVDs at a higher level of resolution.

The Sony BDP S360 really excels with it’s fast start capabilities. From fully plugged in and power on to running in just six seconds claim Sony. Absolutely unbelievable and if you manage it, please do drop us a line, but it certainly is a seriously fast set up.

With the BDP-S360 you could go the whole hog and set it up with the Sony BRAVIA System of HD TV’s. The whole package syncs and combines perfectly. It’s probably the ultimate mid-range setup and also offers you the benefit of a single remote control.
