Sony BDP S350
Blu Ray Review
The Sony BDP S350 is a Profile 2.0 player. This basically means that it is able to take full benefit of the BD-Live online and downloadable
content by using the built in Ethernet point.
As far as features go, the BDP S350 is up there with the best. The player offers you DTS HD Master Audio surround sound and 7.1-channel Dolby
TrueHD for the ultimate audio experience, along with 24p True Cinema. You will also find the addition of Bonus View. The inclusion of Precision
Cinema HD Upscale allows conversion to 1080p. The benefit of having 1080p upscaling is that this will allow you to view your old DVDs at a high
level of resolution.
This player comes with a v1.3 HDMI socket which means that you can output 7.1 Channel HD audio to an appropriate home cinema receiver.
The BDP S350 also comes with the XcrossMediaBar allowing for a well designed interface. One of the other great features about this player is that
it has just a six-second start-up time! The Sony BDP-S350 is a very impressive player and will deliver you with first-rate picture and sound quality
for good value.
